What is my USP?
By Minhas Tejani (Author, Coach, Transcendent

The key question that I am pondering on these
days is “What is the reason/rationale of my creation? Reverend Michael Beckwith
of Agape Spiritual Centre shares something very significant as he says that
amongst more than 7 billion people in this world no one is created without a
purpose… It is pertinent for every soul to know his/her purpose of existence. Rumi
puts it aptly as Everyone has been made for some particular work, and the
desire for that work has been put in every heart.
I was reflecting on the same and remembered my
visit to the British Library in 2018. This was a unique experience as I was
invited by Mr. Mike Davies a very gentle soul with whom I worked in Jaffery
Academy Mombasa as he was helping the school transform into a Human Scale
Education School. Mike is an Academician and a humble human. We agreed to meet somewhere in London and the
most convenient for both of us was at the British Library. When I entered the
library, I was mesmerized to see the walls full of books and other learning
resources. What an amazing place of learning.
Later on, I asked myself how do they keep the
records of these millions of books and suddenly the answer popped up ISBN.
There is a unique identification number for each of these books. The similar
phenomenon is in humans too where we have a unique finger print. I later
synthesized everything and concluded that the humans also have a USP “Unique
Soul Print” which helps us determine our purpose in life. Like each book has a
unique identity, each human also has a unique identity and purpose. It is like
reading and unfolding the truths from our own life book.
I am inspired with the words of Shams Tabraiz It
is never late to ask yourself “Am I ready to change my life, am I ready to
change myself?”. However old we are, whatever we went through, it is always
possible to reborn. If each day is a copy of the last one, what a pity! Every
breath is a chance to reborn. But to reborn into a new life, you have to die
before dying.
Thus, an important question worth reflecting
on is:
Do we come with a pre written life book or we write
our own book during the course of our life?
